The best beef model soup in town! I had the chicken noodle soup and it was good as wellThe staff are friendly and the food is amazing.Try the Apple soda from Taiwan. We stayed in the restaurant for about an hour and the only non Asian people were us, so it means the place is respected amongst Taiwanese and Chinese.Very very much recommended I can’t wait for the next time.
MoreHow am I just finding this place!? Great quality and quantity especially for the prices. Quick, curteous service. I will definitely be back and highly recommend!!
MoreHad lunch with my husband. Menu was perfect, something for everyone. Service was awesome and, the girl behind the counter was very accommodating. I ordered beef noodle soup and, it was tasty. Will be back definitely!
MoreMy wife and I are both from Taiwan. We saw this with Google 4.8 score, so we decided to visit. We dine in at the restaurant around 2:30pm. We were a bit disappointed. Ordered B1 - Lu Rou Fan (basically pork belly rice), Salt & pepper chicken meal box and beef tendon.Overall: good value, but definitely not worth of the rating 4.8Good: food presentation is good.Opportunitiesfor improvements:1. There were basically no service. No tea, no napkins. But they put a sign that customer should tip 10%. 2. Food has no favor. For example, the salt and pepper chicken only has favor on the outer. The inside meat has no favor.3. The egg drop soup was barely warm.4. You have to serve yourself water.
MoreWas okay. The beef noodle soup doesnt have much flavor.
Love this place, really authentic. The ones that taste really good:-Dumplings-Spicy peppercorns sauce with noodles and beef-three cups chicken bento (it’s spicy)-salt and pepper chicken -beef noodles Not recommended:-oyster omelette ( not that authentic )This place is really good, 100% must tryThey also have Instagram too but they don’t update their posts that often lol, ID: taipei101oviedo
MoreLovely little authentic Taiwanese place. Clean and delicious.
I have been eating here for two years. It’s an authentic place and that may not be for everyone but in my experience, most authentic places are alive and well because they are true to their roots. I don’t know of any other local, authentic Taiwanese restaurant. The employees are always extremely nice. I used to work in this plaza and the owner gave us free food sometimes.I get a few of the same things, but they are always worth coming back here for. Gua Bao and Lou Rou Fan.If you know what bao is and you like pork belly, then order gua bao. You get two for less than $7. (Don’t forget to tip! Also, it is recommended to bring cash if spending under $10)Lou Rou Fan has been my go-to for filling up on a budget. It’s similar to gua bao which has pork belly, cilantro, peanuts, sweet chili sauce, and rice. It’s hard to describe the taste of the rice after it soaks in the flavors of the entree that sits atop... Melty, fresh, savory.
MoreI've worked across the street from this place for 4 years and never thought of stopping in....big mistake. Great authentic cuisine. Awesome portions. I will be back....often!
MoreGood service and food. It's a small place, and sometimes they run out of some food, but I think that means their materials are fresh. Love this place. The servers are all very nice and friendly. Once I found a hair in my food (that is understandable, it happens) and they change it without any complains and I'm certainly sure that they made a new one for me. It's good because I know many other places will just take the hair away and give the same dish to customer. They also have many Taiwan style street food. A good place if you want to learn the taste of Taiwan.
MoreWe tried a lot of things and everything was delicious. Service was fast. I’d recommend this for lunch or dinner.
MoreLike it! Tasty variety. Salt/Pepper chicken is great. Dumplings are good. Veggie options. Many unique dishes too. Authentic Chinese dishes like pig feet, ears and snouts. Will try more. Clean inside. Good service. Small place, so probably too busy at lunch. Try early or late times.
MoreWaited 30-35 minutes just for meal box B1Small quantity of beef tribe- you kidding me?Used to be way much better and faster. Now the reward program discontinued. The Thai tea doesn't served with tapioca first then added them even tho I made it clearly that I need the tapioca.Overall a bad experience of revisiting after one year
MoreProbably the best Asian food in town. I go all the time and haven’t had a bad thing yet. I highly recommend the meal boxes: General Tso’s, Salt and Pepper Chicken, and Basa fish boxes. They come with tons of yummy sides. Their specials are also amazing, like shrimp noodles and bao. I wish they’d do Ramen more often because theirs is amazing! Great service too!
MoreSuper authentic, tasty and great portion size for the money. If you order a meal box it comes with a small cup of soup. The spring rolls were fresh and tasty with the chili dipping sauce. The fried fish meal box was excellent and had a variety of noodles/meats/rice/egg. Thai tea was tasty but the boba wasn’t as fresh as other places like Chewy Boba or Quickly Boba. Overall nice quick meal.
MoreAmazing hole in the wall! Ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and it was absolutely delicious. It was a huge portion, but it was so good, I managed to eat the entire thing. Great service as well.
MoreWhat a nice experience at a very small storefront venue. We wondered if it was another Aisan takeout when we drove up but discovered a welcoming gentleman who took time to describe and recommend unfamiliar Taiwan Island dishes of free China. An appetizer and two dinners were hot, showed detail and care. Best of all was that it was delivered to our table by the gracious lady who owns the place. She kept checking on us where it felt like we were eating at her home.
MoreI am from Taiwan, lived in Taiwan for part of my life, and when I moved to Florida I didn’t think I’d ever find good food to remind me of home. But then I found Taipei 101. For those who haven’t had Taiwanese food before the must-try dishes are: pork chop lunch box, beef noodle soup, any of the fried chicken, and black bean noodles. All the dishes are made with authenticity and love. I will miss this place dearly!
MoreOrdered the salt and pepper chicken tonight for dinner. Turns out there was a dead fried bug stuck in between the basil leaves. So disappointing.
MoreSmall place with about room for about 6 tables. Cozy and may fit about 30 people max. The food otherwise is delicious. Certainly some better than others depending on your tastes, the food is authentic which is why you would come here and it's reasonably priced.
